BACCHUS Corporate Partner Celebrates 30th Year in Promoting Responsibility

The Anheuser-Busch Companies, Inc., is celebrating 30 years of leadership in supporting alcohol responsibility.  In 1982, they launched their first campaign called Know When to Say When®.

In 1983, Anheuser-Busch became a corporate sponsor to the newly established BACCHUS nonprofit organization of campus peer educators.   Their corporate support to The BACCHUS Network continues and allows for the development of the National Collegiate Alcohol Awareness Week toolkit, alcohol abuse and impaired driving prevention resources and support.

Anheuser-Busch continues its leadership in working with retailers, parents, law enforcement and others to promote responsibility.  As a nation, we have made significant progress, but there's more we can do. Join in promoting responsible decisions around alcohol if you are 21+ years old by taking the pledge.

Many thanks to Anheuser-Busch for supporting BACCHUS through the years.

Sir Richard's

Many of our members address safe sex and protection in their program outreach. We have

developed a partnership that will help BACCHUS member groups acquire quality protection

product at a discount, help address health risks such as STIs, HIV and AIDS in developing

countries, and help The BACCHUS Network, a 501(c)(3) organization.

Sir Richard's Condom Company started in 2009 when a group of entrepreneurs and designers

from Boulder, CO. came together to create a social-impact business from the ground

up. What they developed is a high quality product line of condoms with a social mission.

Sir Richard's condoms are 100% natural latex and have premium lubricant that is free of

spermicides, parabens or glycerins. The condoms are vegan certified, PETA approved, and

exceed FDA reliability standards. In addition, for every Sir Richard's condom purchased, you

contribute one to a developing country; currently the focus is on Haiti.

All BACCHUS members receive a 35% discount when ordering products from Sir Richards. In

addition, 5% of the total amount of BACCHUS member sales will come back in a donation to

The BACCHUS Network.

The BACCHUS Network™

The BACCHUS Network™ is a university and community based network focusing on comprehensive health and safety initiatives. It is the mission of this 501 C3 non-profit organization to actively promote student and young adult based, campus and community-wide leadership on healthy and safe lifestyle decisions concerning alcohol abuse, tobacco use, illegal drug use, unhealthy sexual practices and other high-risk behaviors.
Affiliates of our Network are concerned with the health of their students, their institution and their community. Students of all ages are faced with making personal decisions about health and safety. Developing positive decision-making skills impacts student life and prepares students to enter the real world and the greater community to promote healthy and safe lifestyles.

The BACCHUS philosophy is that students can play a uniquely effective role - unmatched by professional educators - in encouraging their peers to consider, talk honestly about and develop responsible habits and attitudes toward high-risk health and safety issues.
